You should’ve treated employees as unique and valuable individuals all along. Your success and happiness were dependent upon their success and happiness. They were less productive because you made them work unpaid overtime, they were less creative because they never got their full eight hours of sleep each night, and they were ready to quit when COVID hit because they had no work-life balance.

In The Way Forward, I outline the new expectations for employers and managers. The Great Resignation has changed things for the better, and I’ll guide you through the steps necessary to your future success!

Did you know that new Canadian fathers receive five weeks of paternity leave, or that the legal minimum for vacation days in Germany is 24? Those are just two examples of foreign countries treating their workforce better than ours. The United States is the most overworked developed nation in the world. We are the only industrialized nation on the planet without a mandatory option for new parents to take parental leave, and, on average, we work 435 more hours per year than German workers. That’s 54 eight-hour days!

In each chapter, I’ll give you the science behind my recommendations. Sometimes my recommendations are less than intuitive, but they’re all scientifically proven to work. If you follow my lead in The Way Forward, your employees are going to be happier, your profits are going to be larger, and your competitors are going to be jealous!
